Kashmir - Leh Trip

Day 01: Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar , pick up and transfer to houseboat. rest of the day is at leisure or visit the Nehru garden. overnight at houseboat.

Day 02: Srinagar local sight seeing
This morning after breakfast visit world famous mughal gardens visiting the nishat bagh (the garden of pleasure ) and shalimar bagh (abode of love). the chasme shahi garden etc . in the afternoon shikara ride on the dal lake to enjoy the beauty that god has graced this city with, which is often compared to venice. you will get view of some very intresting places around the lake. overnight at houseboat.

Day 03: Srinagar to Kargil
This morning after breakfast drive to Kargil via sonmarg and crossing the zojilla pass at 3530 meters and the drass which is the second coldest inhabited place in the world by virtue of the intense cold. enroot visit tiger hill Kargil is the second town of ladakh situated on the suru river. arrive Kargil and check - in to hotel. overnight at hotel in Kargil.

Day 04: Kargil Leh.
After early breakfast drive 230 kms about 8 hrs to Leh (3505 m) over crossing Namika la 3720m and fotula 4100 m en route visit the oldest monastry in ladakh lamayuru.arrive Leh and check in to hotel. overnight at hotel

Day 05 : Leh
After breakfast , set off for a half day sight seeing of Leh town visiting Leh palace, sankar gompa and shanti stupa, overlooking the Leh town. return to hotel via main bazaar. overnight in hotel.

Day 06 :Leh pangong lake-Leh
Leave early morning at 5 a.m to pangong lake through changla pass 5486 metersenjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the lake. this famous blue lake of pangong is 5/6 km wide and over 144 kms long with half of its running the other side of the INDOCHINA BORDER in the late afternoon drive back to Leh overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 07 Leh to onward journey
Transfer in time to the airport to connect onward destination flight
